Sealed Lead-Acid Batteries

SLA batteries are maintenance-free and can be mounted in any direction. Most of our SLAs come in smaller cases, making them perfect for a variety of indoor applications.

Lithium batteries represent the next generation of battery power. Their higher energy density allows them to store more energy per unit of weight than other types of batteries. Lithium batteries are also lighter and have a lower self-discharge rate making them ideal for golf carts, powersport equipment, marine and RV, solar energy systems and more.  

Tried and True: Flooded Lead-Acid Batteries

FLAs are still the most common battery for automotive applications. That's because they are easy to maintain, long-lasting and cost-effective. We carry best-in-class FLA batteries that will get you where you need to go — whether around the corner or across the country.

Next Generation batteries for traditional power applications

AGMs are the go-to battery for rugged applications like ATVs, RVs and watercraft. They are maintenance-free and non-spillable. AGMs also have a lower internal resistance, offering the best power efficiency for your vehicle. Because AGMs are able to handle frequent deep discharges and recharging cycles, they are also useful in automotive stop/start applications where the engine is automatically turned off when the vehicle is idling and then restarted when the driver presses the accelerator.

Battery and automotive technology have been intertwined for more than a century. In 1912, as automobiles began to gain mass popularity, Cadillac developed the first starter motor. This innovation eliminated the need for hand cranking and required a reliable power source — a lead-acid battery. By 1920, most new vehicles were equipped with electric starters powered by batteries.
